Experience & Education: Judge Purcell has served as a judge in the Tenth Judicial District since his appointment in 1992. Prior to his appointment as judge, he worked for eighteen years as an attorney in private practice. Judge Purcell received his undergraduate degree from Eastern New Mexico University and his law degree from the South Texas College of Law.
