You Can Vote for Judges in Two Places

JPEC evaluates Supreme Court, Court Of Appeals, District Court, and Bernallilo County Metropolitan Court Judges running for retention in a general election.

Please note there are two places to vote for judges on this year's ballot. Judicial candidates running in a partisan election (identified by party) typically appear near the top of the ballot, and judges standing for retention (who are not running against another candidate) typically appear near the bottom of the ballot in a section labeled retention. NMJPEC only evaluates judges who are standing for retention.
