Experience & Education: Judge Richard Jacquez was elected to the bench in November 2020. Prior to his election as District Court Judge, he worked in the Third Judicial District Attorney’s Office, served as a judge in the Doña Ana County Magistrate Court, and worked at the New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department. Judge Jacquez graduated from the University of New Mexico with a B.A. in Political Science in 1994 and earned his law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1999.
