Evaluation: Judge Daniel Bryant’s survey results were generally positive. Attorneys rated him highly for being attentive to the proceedings, maintaining proper control over the proceedings, being courteous to all participants, and for demonstrating appropriate demeanor on the bench. Court staff and jurors also rated him highly in all areas. There were some concerns regarding the length of time to get hearings and trials scheduled and ruling on motions or cases in a timely manner. Judge Bryant has indicated that he is committed to improving in these areas.

Experience & Education: Judge Daniel Bryant was appointed a District Court Judge in June 2015 and was elected to the position in November 2016. Prior to his judgeship, he worked in the 12th Judicial District Attorney’s Office and in private practice. He received his undergraduate degree from New Mexico Highlands University in 1974 and his law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1978.
