Evaluation: Judge Angie Schneider’s overall survey results were generally positive. Attorneys rated her positively for being courteous to all participants, conducting herself in a manner free from arrogance, and for being attentive to the courtroom proceedings. Court staff rated her positively on all attributes. The resource staff (e.g., law enforcement, probation and parole officers, interpreters, etc.) scored her positively for being courteous and attentive. Scores among attorneys have improved slightly on all attributes and scores among court staff have improved significantly since her previous evaluation.
Experience & Education: Judge Angie Schneider graduated from UNM and received her law degree from the UNM School of Law in 2001. She was appointed as a District Court Judge in 2013 and was subsequently elected in 2014. Judge Schneider’s present community involvement includes Rotary, Assisted Outpatient Treatment work group, and High Mountain Youth Project. Her present professional organizations include the 12th Judicial District Bar Association, New Mexico Bar Association, NMADCP and NCJFCJ.
