Experience & Education: Judge Jarod Hofacket graduated from New Mexico State University and received his law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2003. He was elected as a District Court Judge in 2016. Judge Hofacket had a general civil transaction and litigation practice from 2006-2016. Judge Hofacket’s prior and present community involvement includes Luna County Cancer Support 2014-present, SW Area Workforce Development Board 2014-2016, Deming Rotary Club 2007-present, and Chamber of Commerce Board 2007-2010.
