Experience & Education: Judge Conrad Perea was appointed as a District Court Judge in April of 2017 and elected in November of 2018. Prior to the appointment, he served as a Doña Ana County Magistrate Court Judge from 1999 to 2000 and from 2010 to 2017. He presides over and hears criminal law cases. Judge Perea graduated from New Mexico State University with a Bachelor of Arts in government, and, in 2004, he received a Juris Doctor from the Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver.
