Experience & Education: Judge Nancy Franchini was in private practice for 17 years before being appointed to the 2nd District Court in August 2014 and was subsequently elected in November 2014. Judge Franchini received her BS from University of Colorado and her law degree from the UNM School of Law in 1997. Judge Franchini is president of the District and Metropolitan Court Judges Association. Finally, Judge Franchini volunteers with the Roadrunner Food Bank.
