Evaluation: Judge Grant received positive ratings from the various groups surveyed for this evaluation. The evaluation results indicate the judge's specific strengths to be her knowledge of the rules of substantive law and her ability to communicate oral and written decisions clearly, thoroughly, and logically. Judge Grant has also championed the establishment of a "Homeless" court. This evaluation revealed some areas in which Judge Grant needs to improve. For example, some of the groups surveyed suggest she is arrogant and displays a lack of sensitivity to the impact of her demeanor. These same issues were raised in her prior evaluation. While Judge Grant believes some of the criticism stems from the fact that she requires participants to behave in an orderly and professional manner in her court, she is nevertheless committed to improving her performance.
