Evaluation: Judge Cynthia Fry received quite positive scores overall. Experience & Education: Judge Fry received her law degree in 1981 at the University of New Mexico School of Law. She had extensive experience as a practicing lawyer prior to her seat on the New Mexico Court of Appeals on December 1, 2000. Judge Fry served on the Supreme Court's Appellate Rules Committee and as chair of the New Mexico State Bar Association's Appellate Practice Section. She is a member of the Children's Court Improvement Commission and the Council of Chief Judges of the State Courts of Appeals.
