Experience & Education: Prior to her judgeship, she was in private practice with Foy, Foy and Castillo P.C. in Silver City, New Mexico. Judge Castillo is the Chairperson of the Judicial Branch Personnel Rules Committee and serves on the Court of Appeals Quality Control Committee. She is active in many professional organizations. She received her undergraduate degree from St. Mary's College and her law degree from the University of New Mexico.
