Experience & Education: Judge Nina Safier received an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin in 2000 and a law degree from the University of New Mexico in 2006. She worked as an assistant public defender for over a decade. Prior to that, she handled criminal defense and civil litigation in private practice. She has served on the New Mexico Sentencing Commission and the Metropolitan Court Rules Committee.
