Experience & Education: Judge Allison Martinez was elected a 13th Judicial District Judge in 2022. Prior to becoming a judge, she practiced law for 16 years, serving as a prosecutor in the District Attorney’s office in Albuquerque and as legal counsel for various New Mexico state agencies. Judge Martinez earned her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in 1988 and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2006.
