Evaluation: Justice Pamela B. Minzner received uniformly high ratings as part of this evaluation. She exhibits strengths in all judicial performance categories including legal competence, legal opinions, fairness, and demeanor. Justice Minzner received very high ratings on her previous evaluation, and these have persisted through the present evaluation period. This evaluation indicated no specific areas of weakness or concern. Although these evaluation results raised no specific criticisms of Justice Minzner's judicial performance, she remains committed to improving her own judicial skills as well as the administration of justice in New Mexico.

Experience & Education: Justice Pamela B. Minzner has served on the New Mexico Supreme Court since her appointment in 1994. Before serving on the New Mexico Supreme Court, Justice Minzner served for over ten years on the New Mexico Court of Appeals. She has served as Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Prior to assuming the bench, she worked in private law practice and as a professor at the University of New Mexico School of Law. Justice Minzner has been consistently involved in a number of professional and civic activities; she has been recognized with several awards for her contributions to the legal profession. She received her undergraduate degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and her law degree from the Harvard Law School.
