Evaluation: Judge Robles received positive ratings from both attorneys and non-attorneys in all areas. For example, attorneys and resource staff (law enforcement and probation officers) rated the judge positively for his attentiveness to the proceedings, maintaining proper control over the proceedings, ruling on motions or cases in a timely manner, and for displaying familiarity with court cases through prior preparation. The court staff gave Judge Robles positive ratings for punctuality in commencing proceedings, maintaining appropriate hours given the workload, and for ensuring his personal staff is professional.

Experience & Education: Judge Robles was appointed to the bench in June 1991 and elected in November 1992. He hears civil cases. Judge Robles has served on the New Mexico Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism and the Code of Judicial Conduct Committee. He is active in local youth programs and received the 2006 Continuing Legal Education Peak Award of Excellence. Judge Robles received both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of New Mexico.
