He received his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University in 2002, and he graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2006. Prior to taking the bench, Judge Jaramillo served as an assistant district attorney for the 2nd Judicial District, worked on administrative appeals for the Social Security Administration, and served as an assistant county attorney for Bernalillo County.
