Evaluation: Overall, Judge Dustin Hunter’s results are quite positive. Experience & Education: Judge Dustin Hunter was appointed to the District Court in May of 2016 and elected in November of 2016. He graduated from Cameron University in Lawton, OK in May of 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1998 and was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1998, followed by his admission to the New Mexico Bar in 2005. Prior to his judicial appointment, Judge Hunter was in private practice from 1998 to 2016 and served as an officer of the State Bar and the Chaves County Bar.
