Experience & Education: Justice C. Shannon Bacon was appointed to the New Mexico Supreme Court in 2019 and elected in 2020. Prior to her appointment and election to the New Mexico Supreme Court, Justice Bacon was a district court judge in the 2nd Judicial District from 2010 until 2019. Justice Bacon received her undergraduate degree in 1993 and her law degree in 1997 from Creighton University.
