In addition, the court staff, resource staff (e.g. law enforcement, probation/parole, CASA volunteers, CYFD, interpreters, etc.), and jurors rated Judge Perez highly on all attributes.
Experience & Education: Judge Christopher Perez graduated from Loyola Marymount University and received his law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1996. He was appointed a District Judge in 2020 and was elected later in 2020. Before serving on the District Court bench, Judge Perez worked in private practice for 24 years in New Mexico.
